I may have discovered something important to this decision. If a kirby amiibo is up against a Ganondorf amiibo, the Ganon at level 50 does almost twice as much damage with warlock punch, hence making the kirby amiibo register that is EXTREMELY strong and allowing it to stay cautious. If the kirby amiibo decided it could take 30-40% it may decide to think again at 1.5x that. The same thing works with the defense stat, if they are bigger, stronger, and have reduced knockback, this may lead the Kirby to stay back and wait for the opportunity. The point is that they respond to other amiibo's genes (habits) and the better taught they are the more easily they accomplish this without whiffing.

I am going to search for a workaround to this strange mechanic for anyone worried their amiibo can't handle the heat that comes from the training of this disheartening lack of effort

Customs training

Amiibo may learn different basic strategies such as all defensive, territorial style of play or all offensive, head first, heavy handed, style of play based on equipment training to force them to get around extra-tough strengths and weaknesses.

Although this would be useful for training had it any practical effects on how amiibo learn, but as of now it looks like it's only a useful trophy/custom parts/equipment farm.

Informant article of media
I have edited and reiterated my guide to a great degree. I stayed up late, I lost all my work, I did it again. Appreciate my guide. Appreciate it. Feature my guide. Thanks. Hope it's solid enough this time around and enjoyable~
i've been editing this thing like trimming a base full of bushes, and am still. I am planning on stretching this guide thin with general advice on teams, casual everything play, what will be known as The Marathon money match, along with any help that appears in the discussion over time. So keep up with it~ thanks.
