We expect all brackets to finish by 10:00 p.m.

All players must sign in on the day of the event before registration closes or notify a TO that they will be there by the listed start time. If there are many on-site registrants, times are subject to be pushed back roughly 30 minutes.

Doubles will follow Pools into a single Double Elimination "Pro" Bracket.

All Singles entrants will participate in Pools. Depending on Pools performance, players will be placed into one of three Double Elimination Brackets: Pro, Intermediate, or Amateur. ALL players will be eligible to compete in one of these brackets, but participation in the Intermediate and Amateur brackets will be opt-in. Every player will start on the winners side of their respective bracket.

Location:

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Student Union in Troy, NY at the intersection of Sage Ave and 15th St.

The tournament room is on the second floor, in a large open central room called the McNeil room. There are four main pillars around the center of the room. This is visible from entrances on the second floor and directly behind the main entrance lobby (go up some stairs to enter the building rather than in a lower side door). This is the same room as that used for Final Battle, NEW FISH, Uprising, and Ghost Pepper Smash.

If coming by car, there is ample parking, and it is free on weekends. If coming by bus or train, contact us, and we can arrange for you to be picked up. We can provide overnight housing if necessary.

For those of you looking to level up your game, KJH will be offering personalized lessons ($15 per 30 minutes) on the day of the tournament! These lessons will take place during Doubles, so you’ll get your training done just in time for Singles.

The static team iB2W (iBDW + 2saint) has volunteered to play a recorded Bo5 with anyone willing to shell out $15, so grab your favorite Doubles partner and duke it out with one of our top teams!

Due to the unprecedented popularity of the “Become a Sponsor” reward, we will be increasing the maximum number of sponsors from 4 to 6! This means there are still 2 more sponsorship slots available for purchase (don’t forget you have to purchase this particular reward before March 24 so we have time to add your logo to the stream overlays).

Don’t forget to preregister! The earlier you sign up on smashgg, the better we’ll be able to seed you so you don’t get blown up in pools.
