SUPER SMASH BROS MELEE

Game version: US Nintendo GameCube

Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games

Semis, Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals run 3/5 games

Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.

Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium.

Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.

First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order.

Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.

Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.

Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans.
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

seeding for tournament will be based on past tournaments and rankings.

You will need to bring your own controllers.

PAYOUT:

Singles

1st Place - 60%
2nd Place - 30%
3rd Place - 10%


Doubles: (If double is being played)

fewer than 5 teams

1st -100%

for more than 5 teams less than 10

1st - 70%
2nd - 30%

for more than 10 teams:

1st - 60%
2nd - 30%
3rd - 10%

I'm going to enter this monday tournament. I'm definitely going to go in single, I'd also like to enter the doubles tourney but I don't have someone to play with. Is there anyone who's coming who would also play in doubles if they could get a partner? I'm pretty proficient in Melee so I can work with a lot of different characters/match-ups, so anyone who is looking for someone to team up with, I'll be up for it.

where you coming from? We have players always looking for partners. Are you on facebook? I can direct you to specific groups on FB to find a partner as well.
