Melee weekly in Tewksbury, MA at Batter-Up.

Doors open at 5pm
Melee Doubles at 6:30pm
Melee Singles at 8pm

ENTRY FEES
Venue Fee $5*
Melee Singles $5 per person
Melee Doubles $3 per person
* Venue fee will be waived if you bring a full set up (crt, Wii/GC, melee)

Payouts
1st. 60%
2nd. 30%
3rd. 10%

Went to my first tournament last week here. Great envoirment. Learned new techniques and everyone was friendly. Question. If I bring my own setup, will that waive the fee for bother my brother and i?

How many people usually show up? I live just south of Worcester and I can't find any active MA weeklies and tournies recently. It's an hour drive, so can anyone vouch if it's worth it?

And is it in the Planet Fitness building? That'd be sweet if it is because I have a membership and I've been dying to go recently, and this'd give me an excuse.

To answer your question, B BoomBabyReggieMiller , each setup that is brought will waive a venue fee. To waive multiple venue fees, you will need multiple setups.

And whiskey hotel as to yours, it's on the bottom floor of the Tewksbury Sports Club and gets 16-39 entrants on a weekly basis. There are many other events in Massachusetts, but the closest paid weekly to Worcester is Smashing Grounds (seen here: https://smashboards.com/threads/feb...-project-m-and-melee-weekly-natick-ma.442526/) which I host every Thursday in Natick. It also has Project M, and is the biggest PM weekly locally.
