Well they can't use the wig at least. Mii wigs are modeled to look artificial, almost as if they're...wigs and not real hair.

It's a lot more beneficial to Lloyd than you think. It means they don't have to model his outfit or swords, and a few of the Mii Swordfighter's special move options seem to be based on Lloyd's moveset, just they'd need to be tweaked to use two swords. And not have cartoony Mii proportions.

Yeah I'll admit me not wanting to pay full price for a game I've already played that's barely changed (IE: MK8 Deluxe before the BCP) is something I'm projecting onto the general population, but it's not like there aren't people who indeed want more new content than a port or further DLC can...

That's not how it works. It's not that they can't make third-parties that got Mii'd playable, it's just that they avoided it for whatever reason.

I don't get why someone would want a port and then want FP3 to be DLC for that port. Why not just hope for FP3 for the Ultimate we already have? Do you really want to have to spend $300 on a new console, then $60 on a port, just to buy an extra $30 pass?

Don't think that's the best comparison, I can only tell the bottom pic can't be Smash 4 because Snake is there. A better comparison would be how Ultimate DK doesn't have the fuzziness of Smash 4's:
