Zero Suit Samus tether grab bug

When ZSS grabs, her tether comes out from her gun hand and seems to be a grab-hitbox. Her tether is what grabs instead of her hand. It cannot grab shorter characters unless they're airborne, but it can grab taller/bigger characters like DK when standing next to them.

Not sure of the situations leading up to it. I'll restart and see if it happens again.

Edit: Awkward grab takes place regardless of restart. Vanilla PM, so it's not negatively reacting to other details.

Have you tried reinstalling? ZSS doesn't have a tether grab at all anymore

Reformatted and reinstalled. Fixed the problem. ZSS was apparently corrupted when transferred and I was not aware at the time. Problem solved. Thanks standardtoaster.
