I was wondering if there are any regions where wobbling is straight up banned everywhere in their region.

I know Wisconsin does...and as Wisconsin's only IC player it bugs me :/

Michigan. Every tournament there that is run by juggleguy has wobbling banned.
Outside of that, it's legal everywhere else since most TOs use the Apex or Evo rulesets.
Usually only small locals will have it banned anymore (even then, not most of them)

Tournaments with wobbling legal in regions that generally ban it are the best.
In all honesty, it's really dumb to be banning it at this point in time. We have a pretty solidified ruleset right now, and it's pretty clear the ban won't be coming back as a norm anytime soon, and having it banned right now doesn't help to prepare people when they travel out of region or to a lot of bigger tournaments.

Inui is the only WI TO that doesn't....and he's in the middle of nowhere in regards to the rest of the state.
take it as an opportunity to solidify your non-wobbling skills. While it isn't ideal or optimal, there have been a number successful ICs who did not wobble (at least at a local level, but also several at top level).
Look at all the oldschool ICs, specifically Chu.
Look at Fly up until like this year.
Look at wobbles recent stuff (although, to be fair, wobbles right now is probably one of the least optimal ICs).
Trail.
I used to watch a lot of Peef's stuff too. He was a michigan player (and wobbling was basically universally banned when he was playing too) and he had some pretty strong grab punishes even without wobbling.
In general, watching a lot of old IC sets from wobbling banned tournaments can help you learn to build those skills and understand their combo game.

however, you still should learn to wobble consistently, practice it frequently, and be using it in friendlies, because if you ever go to wobbling legal tournaments, you want the option to be available to you.

Kind of think someone needs to call juggleguy out on his banning wobbling. It's dumb and doesn't match the current tournament standard.

Plenty of people have, he's pretty stubborn. It's w/e tho, he can make whatever rules he wants for his own tournaments, just don't go to them like most IC players.
