Welcome to the eighth edition of Weekend Watchlist, the best way to find the most exciting tournaments to watch each weekend! We help fans satisfy that craving for Smash content by sifting through the tournaments and streams planned for each weekend and coming up with the best to tune into. Without further ado, here is the Weekend Watchlist!

---

CEO 2015

This is the tournament to watch this weekend. CEO 2015 is the largest tournament for Smash before EVO 2015 and many major names across both Melee and Smash 4 will be in attendance. Smash 4 capped out its registration at 512, and Melee entries have hit 466 with only a 10% crossover rate, showing loads of players are coming for both games! The tournament will take place from June 26th through 28th and will be a Smash spectacular. Let's take a closer look at games:

Melee

Hungrybox, Leffen, Mang0, and Armada. Four of the "big six" will be in attendance at CEO 2015. The talent doesn't stop there however, Westballz, Colbol, PewPewU, Shroomed, Plup, s2j, SFAT, Zhu, MacD, Chillindude, Wizzrobe, The Moon, Abate, HugS, DJ Nintendo, Cactuar, darkrain, BizzaroFlame, and the list just keeps piling on with impressive talent coming to compete in Melee! With such massive amounts of talent, this could be a serious preview of what we may see at Evo 2015. A fantastic event preview on the Melee side of the event has been written up on MeleeItOnMe so be sure to check that out for more Melee goodness. With a pot bonus of $3000 dollars on the line, competition is sure to be at its fiercest.

Smash 4

Smash 4 as it stands has the most entries out of any game at CEO 2015 which is an impressive thing to manage! Talent has been poring in for the event across the globe for the event, with names like DKWill, NAKAT, falln, Shakey, Fatality, 6WX, NickRiddle, ESAM, Ryo, Trela, Phuzix, Larry Lurr, GimR, Dabuz, Nairo, 8BitMan, TheReflexWonder, Bloodcross, (IS THAT ENOUGH YET!?!?), ANTi, StaticManny, Mr.R, Tyrant, Seagull Joe, Vinnie, MJG, Pink Fresh, MVD, AND MORE! But even with all those names, the man to beat is definitely ZeRo.

Alongside the $3000 pot bonus for smash 4, an extra $500 has been put down to try and stop ZeRo's massive winning streak. With $100 for anyone who sends him to the loser's bracket and $400 for the one who completely takes him out everyone will be bringing their A game for fame and fortune!

So hop aboard the hype train that is CEO 2015! For more information on the event check out the CEO 2015 Primer. The official stream schedule can be found here. For any other information on the event check out the CEO Website.

While CEO is the heavy hitter to watch this weekend there are several smaller events that will have strong showing from local talent. Consider tuning into one of these events using multitwitch to stop any lull in the Smash action!

So choose a stream, maybe fire up multitwitch, and satisfy that need for Smash with the coolest events around! If there are events that should be featured in next week's Weekend Watchlist mention them in the comments below or Tweet them out to @SmashCapps.

hey guys, if you find the time, please tune in to the 818 regional at twitch.tv/fadgames. fire and dice is an amazing venue that hosts tournaments every sunday and thursday, and this sunday is our second monthly. we'll be having #1 ranked players from hawaii, arizona, as well as socal's finest duking it out. fire and dice's attendance is growing exponentially each week, with their weeklies averaging 40-50 people twice a week. i don't even work for them, i just whole heartedly support them and it would mean the world if you could tune in on sunday! the only thing F&D is lacking is the viewer count. the quality of the stream combined with top level play will keep you entertained, i promise! thanks for including us smashcapps!

Going to be such a hype tournament, and I'm backing my boys from GA, but ZeRo is gonna take it. Reflex, Fatality, Player-1, Rango and others are gonna tear it up though!

I heard M2K was supposed to be at CEO but he missed the flight? The Hbox + Zero doubles team was pretty fun to watch though.
