So I'm still pretty new to ic's and I think this might be a step towards really elevating my game. I understand the concept to an extent, but I'm having trouble with implementation. Any ideas?

Using Nana as bait

baiting nana is essentially just positioning yourself and nana in a way that your opponent will try to go for nana and puts themselves in a position for you to punish.
How and when to do this is a lot harder to explain. I'd recommend watching a lot of top level ICs and paying attention to how they position their nana.
Most of the time, it's better to just keep her safe, but making her look like she's vulnerable will often force an unsafe approach from your opponent.
