Guys, if ANYONE can bring copies of melee, it would be MUCH appreciated. How we are going to have it most likely is 8 setups. (5 Brawl, 3 Melee) unless the turnout gets higher, than we will make changes.

Yobiddy! You've probably been to the venue and talked to the guys at GP, they are cool guys. They don't have any CRTS though, only lagging flatscreens. But something that is pretty cool that you should do is for each crt that you bring, bring splitters and split out to the big screens. That way, players can play their match on the crt, but spectators can watch on the BIG ol flatscreens! It's what I did at these,

and they're perfectly fine with it at the venue. Adds to the hype!

Hello All!

Yeah this worked really well at the past few Melee tournaments here at GP. I have a 4 in/2 out splitter at home that I will bring in for this tourney. My idea is to have it where we can have 2 CRTs available by the screen in the back, and basically be able to switch between the 2 for both the 60 inch screen there and the live stream which will be stationed back there.

By this I mean 2 matches will be going on as normal on the CRTs, but depending on which match has more hype/people want to watch more, we can switch to that match for the stream/60 inch at any time with a click of a button. The same concept applies when one CRT's match ends, people can still watch the other screen without any downtime in between on the big screen/stream.

If you guys haven't been to GP before, definitely come by and chill! I'd love to meet more of you guys and talk smash with you!

Also, if you come in and mention this post, you get a free half an hour to play w/e you want in the lounge, including the Wii U.

Thanks again guys and I hope to hear from you all soon!
