Don't be hard on yourself. This whole video was your idea, and you've contributed way more good ideas to it than I have. I used to do professional editing, and you learn quickly that no one person has all the good ideas. So far, I'd say you've got more good ideas than I do, I'm just really anal when it comes to controlling what songs i edit to.

And yeah I'll use that clip.

Fantastic, and thank you for the credit. I wasn't aware you're a professional editor, so the quality of the teaser now makes sense.

Okay, how about this--I make the video in january, once we catch the last footage of the year, and then we release it in time for apex?

That way I can start editing now, and still have room to add.

Papapaint, I'd like to make an extra suggestion about clips - I'd say that maybe trying to represent a breadth of players would let the video represent the Luigi players as a whole. Centering on the "big guys" is great since they've got a lot of representation in volumes of games plus usually have really stellar performances, but I think adding at least one clip from most of the players, if it comes down to making a tough call between choosing clips, would make this feel like a community effort. I don't know what kinds of burdens that puts on editing if any (I doubt it but don't know for sure). Searching for clips I found at least a few Luigi players I hadn't heard much of before, so focusing partly on diversity of players might also turn out positively.

What does the community think?

Good stock overall ending with a weird powershield of one hit of the get up attack, then shielding the second hit of the same attack to fair.

You can use any of this combos or moments.
Also i guess the editor will decide if all the combos of the same player will be in a row or not; i would say in this case it would be better if the combos of the same player are not in a row, because i feel it would be harder to edit and with less freedom with the other option.
But im fine with any option, just my point of view.

Hulka - the last twitch video you posted was apparently taken down. Sorry; if you still have your best play ever clip, I was excited to see that and now slightly let down taht it's offline, so if you can upload that to youtube somehow it'd be great.

Thanks for the heads up. Once I get my computer I'll be sure to upload the clips to Youtube. The video seems to work when I change the quality to 480p. From there, you can change the video back to the "best" quality and it seems to work also and make sure you skip to my section of the video after you have turned the quality to 480p. From there you can turn the quality to best.


ALSO just edited my original post with time stamps to where the combo starts and those seem to work fine as of now.

Geof, you could certainly record and youtube it, but I don't guarantee that it'll make it into the video. That's up to a lot of factors.

Sorry for being out of pocket. I haven't started; been very busy training for apex+handling some RL things. Worst case scenario, I'll get started on New Year's and finish later in the month.
