How does the poll figure out what sites are voting? So if I were to take this to GameFAQs and voted on GameFAQs, would it count GameFAQs as a site?

Also looking forward to the results when they solidify.

I don't know how it does it, but the site is pretty legit. It lists all the companies who use the professionalism version and companies like Kraft and Pepsi Co use it, among others.

And yeah, take it to GameFAQs and it will show you how many people voted from gamefaqs

Not sure if taking it to GameFAQs would be a bright idea, but I might comply if wanted.

Just posted it on GameFAQs and already I ran into problems, since the link contains "f**" inside of it and warned me of a violation. Had to put a - between "f" and "ap" so I wouldn't get into trouble.

    We'll see how this goes.

It's Michaeloll, so that comment isn't very surprising. He's even worse than dedekong.

Taking it to 4chan would lead to a suspicious rise in the number of Waluigi votes.

At least, that's what happened in the previous poll.

It saddens me to see the Tales category as low as it is, but what's with the bottom three character choices having 0 votes yet still being displayed?

The relative obscurity of the Tales franchise is the only reason why it's doing as bad as it is and even so, it's only nine votes behind Pac-Man so far. In Japan, ChronoBound has noted very strong demand for a Tales character (but can't agree on whom). If the franchise was as popular in America as it is in Japan, Tales characters would probably be among the Top 10 most wanted characters.

Yeah, I don't see tales getting many votes honestly. It's nice to see how things are panning out this time around. I've noticed things are going back to "normal" in terms of how the rankings are going. The poll I released before this one shook a lot of stuff up, for some reason. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that there was less to choose from. I'll be doing AT and Boss stats right meow. They're gonna be more around the 300 mark though, so keep that in mind when you're looking at them.

Here are the AT results (as of 290)

Oh, that has to do with his NUMBER in his name. I'll have to fix that.

There is another one with Pokemon Trainer Villain being second to last, when he shouldn't be. But I don't feel like fixing it. Would take so much work.

Interesting to see Dark Pit having more votes than Anna, Lucina, Ashley and Dillon.

And Ghirahim doesn't seem to be as popular as he was in the last poll.

Mewtwo and Mega Man still dominate the poll. Ridley, K. Rool and Roy following after isn't a big surprise either.

Though almost impossible to appear, Banjo & Kazooie have quite the amount of popularity.

Bowser Jr. seems to be higher on this poll than in the previous one...

ghirahim would be so sick to have. legend of zelda characters have generally been pretty bad (tournament wise) and hopefully ghirahim would prolly be good

Toon Link is quite good though.

Though we can't predict tiers now, when even the roster is unknown.

Skeptic that he would be able to beat out Mewtwo and Mega Man, since one is a cut character and the other is a third party character who is much more popular anyways. I could see him putting on a challenge against Ridley and K. Rool had he not been in Microsoft Hell though, no doubt he'd rank in the top 5.

He's actually one of the characters who really suprised me, same with Anna. Lucina and Dillon however fell much shorter than I expected. Lyn is also doing pretty well. She's the fifth most voted FE character (Including Marth and Ike)

I think this may have to do with having more LoZ choices this time around.

I was suprised a bit by how much Roy shot up, but it makes sense.

Yeah but come on, it's freakin Banjo & Kazooie!

Well I haven't gone to 4chan, and Waluigi hasn't shot up yet, so.

    Definitely~

If Banjo Kazooie was still second party, he would have probably been in Melee or Brawl by now.

I was always perplexed when people thought Dillon actually had a decent chance, but I admit I did expect him to be higher. The poll is popularity-based after all.

Oh I see it now. Neoseeker, GameFAQs, Wiichat, some site called Megaman4smashbros, and some other reddits all make up the little sliver on the percentage pie. Smashboards, Reddit, Neogaf, and Kwiksurveys make up the biggest portion of the votes.

And I agree with N30N. I really did expect a bit more from him. But I also expected a bit more from Zael (Not much, but more than what he has now)

Anyways I'm gonna try and think of a place to take this, and then when I get off of work the results should be well over 400 votes. (They're already almost at 400 now) So I'll update.

Also, I'll update Stages, Boss, and ATs only on request. Stages specifically, take a long as time to transfer over.

And yeah, we have one Korean vote, 1 Indian vote, and like 10 Aussie votes, but that's about as east as this poll gets. Its mostly US/Canada votes.
