The Illuminaudi will be hosting a Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Naruto Shippūden: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! EX 3 tournament Saturday, January 17th! The tournament schedule includes Teams and Singles for both games, Registration will end at 6:00pm Saturday. Smash and Naruto Teams will begin simultaneously by 6:15pm, followed by the Singles tournament for each platform.

There is a $10 venue fee at the door, which includes a free drink.
Sign-up costs for each tournament is $10 per entry, so $20 per team.
100% of the entry fees will go to the prize pot for the top three (3) placing teams/players divided: 1st 70% 2nd 20% 3rd 10%.
*Note: Your venue fee may be waived if you are able to bring a full set-up (full = TV, console, game) and we use it to run the tournament. Just make sure that you label everything, and reply here or contact the store to inquire on the number of needed set-ups.

Tournament rules!
Universal tournament rulings:
No coaching/distracting players in match.
Please, bring your own controller.
Inform the tournament organizer is you leave for any reason so no one has to be DQed for missing matches.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl:
Double Elimination.
Match = 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, 2/3 - Finals 3/5.
In case of Time Out: Highest Stock followed by lowest Percent.
First round Random Stage unless agreed upon. Advanced Slob Picks. Each player may name one (1) stage to ban from counterpicks.
You may not counterpick a Stage that you have already won on that set.
Team Attack: On, Life Sharing: Allowed.

In case of suicide on both players final Stock, whomever initiated the suicide wins the game (Sudden Death is not played).
Banned: Stalling. King Dedede's standing infinite chain grab.

Naruto Shippūden: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! EX 3:
Double Elimination.
Match = 3 Win rounds, 99 Second Time Limit, 2/3 - Finals 3/5.
Only loser may change character. Stage selection stays Random.
Damage setting: 3, Crisis Mode: On, Hand Seals: Off,
Stage Transition: Off, Obstacles: Off.
Banned: Gara's Back Turn Up+A on wake-up.

that being said, 6 pm is too late to start if youre gonna do both and hope to get more than like 8 people

My attendance for doubles depends on how the weather is tomorrow. If there's a snow day tomorrow then I'll be coming for doubles; if not then I'll be coming for singles only.

However if there's no snow day then I'll have to do **** before I come to the tourney.
