Who is Slowpoke?

Why should Slowpoke be in ssb4?
As you are probably aware, ssb4 was recently revealed at e3, and Villager, Mega man, and Wii fit Trainer were showcased. Now the question remains: what pokemon would be the best new representative for the new iteration? Slowpoke is your answer. With it's water-psychic typing, it's like an epic combination of Squirtle and Mewtwo! Slowpoke has already appeared as a stage element on everybody's favorite stage, Poke floats, so it's quite likely that he could receive a promotion. Plus, he has been heavily promoted by the Pokémon company lately, as seen in this video:

Slowpoke's only real competition seems to be from Psyduck at this point, but I'm confident that Slowpoke will be chosen.
