We gotta play sometime, it's been about a year since I've played Gen 6 competitively but I'm down to battle every once and a while.

while we're at it we should smash too, my Marth could definitely learn a thing or 5 from your Lucina.

Sure. Although, my Pokémon in X and Y are all built for Doubles format. As far as Smash let me know. I play both Marth and Lucina. Which reminds me, I gotta hit the lab right now. Rising aerials = bad in most situations. Gotta play a more grounded game.

Don't worry about it. I'll figure something out in terms of using those Pokémon for singles. As far as a kill set up into d-air spike, I've been trying to figure one out but it relies mostly on airdodge reads on a recovering opponent or after a fair on edgeguard. It's very iffy though and I don't think it'll really work.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any 4v4 teams that have an open spot. Tomorrow is most likely gonna be a free play day after the 4v4 tourney ends so you can just show up and ask around and if not you still get to play tons.

4v4 mixes it up a bit, lets other people get the spotlight.

I can't even count how many backslash kills I got, so worth.

Quite a bit changed since my last update to character frequency. Most importantly, we have a Samus in our ranks (and not of the Zero Suit variety)! Hakii finally came to enough tournaments to qualify for the PR, and finds himself squarely in the top 15. Additionally, Locuan and Yellocake return to the top 20, giving Mario, Marth, and Yoshi some love. Uho falling out also means ROB gains sole control of the character crown again!

Thing is, with how it's set up, you don't fall so you should be fine. Gova hasn't been entering tournaments for a long while and he is still 10th. There seems to be no decay on the PR system @ATX_Joe is using.

Final thoughts on Season 2: it was definitely a fun season! I'm slowly starting to lose my competitive drive (which is reflected in my steadily-declining results over the course of the season), but I really do enjoy coming in and playing with you guys. I'm not sure I'll attend as much in season 3 (especially as I start ramping up my training for marathon), but I'll definitely try to show up and at least play some friendlies with y'all! Congrats to SaSSy on finishing on top this season!

Not really as invested in Smash 4 as I was in Brawl, so I doubt I'll ever have custom music on mine.

Massive update on TGC 5! Please read!

Texas's largest Smash 4 tournament series, TGC, is having its 5th event (Dec 5th) and it is just 24 days away!

With a $1000 pot bonus split between 1vs1 and 2vs2 and the highest number of out-of-state players a TGC event has ever seen, TGC 5 is looking like it may hit 200+ entrants! Wow!!!

In terms of high level Tx skill, we have the normal: MegaFox, Trela, Wall, GrimTurtle, Karna, Denti, Gnes and more...

But as for out-of-state confirmed players? Behold!

Having these powerhouse players come to TGC is a massive opportunity for all of us. This is our chance to get premium practice from the best of the best as well as show them what Texas is made of. Whether you are good or bad, top level or low level, PLEASE play these players and make them feel welcome is the best Smash 4 city in Texas! Just think, a mini national in your own state.

Also, due to this event exploding in a way i never saw coming. I am in great need of 2 things:

1. Full setups (WiiU/Tv/Smash 4). Any person who bring a full set-up to TGC 5 will not have to pay a venue fee. If you bring a partial set-up (WiiU+smash 4 but no TV or TV but no WiiU+smash 4) you will get half off venue fee. Guys/Girls, I seriously need your help with setups. No joke.

2. Volunteers. Once an event hits 150 or more players, time management and overall event control gets more difficult. If you wish to help report matches, stop friendlies, help setup/break down the venue or just be more involved with TO duties at TGC, please contact me ASAP.

Another topic is that of recording. TGC 5 will be recorded by yours truly.
