Wow, what a turnout! 180+ singles entrants and 60+ teams are both new single-day Michigan records, even surpassing a few of the past two-day turnouts such as TBH3 and Super SWEET. Ridiculous! The platinum age is real.

Shoutout to that grad school chemist from Eastern who played friendlies with me and gave me a lot of good tips about Sheik and playing in general. Sort of gave me a different view of Melee and I'll be heeding your advice.
Also shoutout to that adorable Sheik main in pool B10 that advised me to use my recovery more sparingly, your Sheik game is much stronger than mine, lol.

This was my first tournament, and I really enjoyed it even though I got crushed. I'm gonna get better and come back. Thanks for putting a great event together, TOs.
