- this is only for (somewhat) tourney-relevant stages
- this is done in training mode (so no rage; and the other player was controlable, but he didn't DI or press anything)
- I tried to test somewhat relevant %-ranges

Horizontal:

center:
(DK fsmashes Mario (who is in the center of the stage) to the right)

Stage|KO %
Big Battlefield: | 100 %
Pilotwings: | 92 %

Final Destination (& Omegas): | 87 %
Town and City: | 85 %
Lylat Cruise: | 85 %
Halberd(main): | 84 %
Smashville: | 82 % (might not be 100% from the middle of the stage)
Delfino(floating): | 82 % (might not be 100% from the middle)
Castle Siege: | 1stF: 79 % , 2ndF 69 % , 3rdF: 85 %

edge:
(DK backthrows Mario on the left edge of the stage, Mario dies at...)

Stage | KO %
Kongo Jungle: | 128 %
Pilotwings: | 121 %
Battlefield: | 119 %
Halberd(main): | 110 %
Big Battlefield: | 108 %
Duck Hunt: | 108 %

Pokemon Stadium 2: | 106 %
Smashville: | 103 %
Delfino(floating): | 101 %
Town and City: | 100 %
Lylat Cruise: | 100 %
Castle Siege: | [1st form: left 97 % / right 98 %] , [3rd form: left 100 % / right 102 %]

Vertical (upwards):
(Fox does an uncharged upsmash on Mario)

Stage | KO %
Kongo Jungle: | (middle) 120%, (edges) 117%
Big Battlefield: | 114%
Battlefield: | 107%
Final Destination (& Omegas): | 104%
Delfino(floating): | 104%
Lylat Cruise: (middle part) | 104%
Duck Hunt: | 104%
Pokemon Stadium 2: | 104%
Castle Siege: | [1st form: left 104%, right 100%] , [2nd form: 110%] , [3rd form: middle 102%, edges 104%]
Smashville: | 103%
Pilotwings(upper wings): | 102%
Town and City: | 101%
Halberd(main): | (below platform/middle) 96%, (edges) 94%

Vertical (downwards):
- Battlefield: goes very far down
- Kongo Jungle: goes very far down
- most of the other stages have less space (than the 2 above) below the stage, and it's mostly about the same

This is wonderful! Seems like BBF's size is not a problem then? This is quite interesting. Are you planning on doing it with more stages?

Nice work.:b:

Big Battlefield's size isn't an issue in its blast zones, but rather the actual stage and platforms allowing for circle camping, unfortunately.

Like it was said, BBs blastzones probably wouldn't be too problematic, but it's "onstage" size with the platforms is kinda too much. But this isn't a topic for this thread. :p

I actually forgot about the Duck Hunt stage which I added in right now. Not sure about more other stages since many of them have different positions / forms etc. where you could do it from and / or are moving a lot which makes this annoying to test.

I'd also be interested in kill % from center stage, since that would give a better idea of how wide the playable area is. Killing from the edge lets the physical stage size influence the results.

That's kinda the point though imo. Most of the time you'll get hit while on the stageground. Sometimes from edgeguards. But both of these are influenced by how big the stage actually is - or more accurately: how far the blastzone is from the stage itself. I can try to test some middle stage stuff too though to see how it differs then.

Can you test PS2?
Yeah, I'll do that tomorrow.

Yeah, I'll do that tomorrow.
It's mostly for the sake of standardization. If two stages have the same sized blast zones (in absolute terms), but one simply has a larger physical platform to fight on, then killing from the edge will skew the results.

Alright I've done the testing now. Here are the results:

All stages: Mario is hit from the center of the stage:
(DK fsmashes Mario (who is in the center of the stage) to the right)

Stage|KO %
Big Battlefield: | 100 %
Pilotwings: | 92 %
Battlefield: | 90 %
Pokemon Stadium 2: | 90 %
Kongo Jungle: | 90 %
Duck Hunt: | 90 %
Final Destination (& Omegas): | 87 %
Town and City: | 85 %
Lylat Cruise: | 85 %
Halberd(main): | 84 %
Smashville: | 82 % (might not be 100% from the middle of the stage)
Delfino(floating): | 82 % (might not be 100% from the middle)
Castle Siege: | 1stF: 79 % , 2ndF 69 % , 3rdF: 85 %
