I don't think so, maybe as background characters but the stage's design looks pretty fancy to play in.

We've seen a tiny part of the stage and I already like it way more than Brawl's green hill

I like this stage more than Green Hill Zone in Brawl already. It looks rather fun!

Here's the stage, which I have spliced together.
Wow, nice work! But yeah, ohh yeah looks really nice! Add me to the list of people that like this way more than the Green Hill Zone stage! Lots of style, and not a hazard in sight...this stage might be tournament viable as well! Good, cause it looks purdy! Need to see some other characters besides Sonic on it though just so I can feel 100% sure this isn't some neat part of an adventure mode.

Ive taken a liking to the stage and even though it seems better then Green Hill. I kinda do hope it does come back as a previous Brawl stage since i think it would be awesome to include two Sonic stages. Though, im not sure if that's likely.

Please no wisps. Please please please please.

Assuming the 3DS gets its own Sanik stage, I really hope for either Sonic Rush or Sonic Battle music/stages. Maybe Blaze as an AT.

Huh. What I'm really wondering is how gravity will shape up in this here stage.

Also, you with the Shantae avvy: you may have spelled SAUCE wrong. As in SAUCE the HEH.

I could see this being a rotating stage that maintains the same boarders throughout the whole time.

I'm really loving the look of this stage. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't go with something more iconic, but Windy Hill is still cool. I wonder if the stage will have walk of edges, or if there are cliffs on the sides that we just can't see.

Looking forward to seeing more of this stage in the daily Miiverse pictures.

Maybe the 3DS version will have another stage from Lost World?
I hope we get a retro one, Chemical Plant would be cool.

Personally Id like a nod to the Advance titles for 3DS, maybe a Neo Green Hill Zone or Route 99. I really love the direction Windy Hill seems to be taking. MUCH much better than Green Hill in Brawl. Makes me feel better since Im a long time Sonic fanfag and I felt Sonics representation in Brawl was a complete joke.

I'm actually surprised they didn't go with something like Casino Night Zone, or City Escape. I agree, Windy Hill looks really cool so far, but I really didn't expect to see a Sonic Lost World stage.

Sega probably wanted the Lost World stage. (Otherwise Sakurai would've gone the iconic route like he did with Mega Man's stage)

Going for iconic stuff would have been retreading the same water anyway.

Brawl was Sonic's notable moment, so going for THE Sonic stage was the logical course of action. Sonic in Smash 4, while still notable in its own right, was something that was half-expected from the start, so SEGA and Nintendo can take the opportunity and go for more recent stuff.

Brawl was basically "Here's what Sonic was and is." Smash 4 is "Here's what Sonic's got in store for him now and onward."

You all assume Green Hill Zone or other retro stages won't make an appearance in Sm4sh. I'm pretty sure we'll get at least two stages counting both versions, and possibly Green Hill returning as the retro.
I would love Chemical Plant or also Rooftop Run (at least the music please Sakurai).
