EDIT: Ignore post, new roster is in another one.

I wanted Donkey Kong, Star Fox, and Kirby to have 2. I think now Brawl is next, hence why I added as many as I could.
Added Dedede, R.O.B., Diddy Kong, and Wolf.

But then I realized I should start getting original, and that Donkey Kong and Starfox had other viable options that aren't vets at all. So I'll hold of. I kept R.O.B. but added Isaac, Andy, and Dillon. That's better.

And then I noticed that I'm missing F-Zero, Earthbound, and Pikmin. So I can add one there Olimar. I'll switch out Isaac for him.

Little Mac: I decided to continue only having characters that represent their own series; he's an obvious choice.
Isaac: Well I can't add Ness, so I might as well add the next best thing.
Ray: I'm personally a big fan of Custom Robo, and I'm running out of misc. characters to add.
Sonic: Seems like a good time to add a third party

I also decided to go all or nothing and replace Marth with Robin. I thought about it, and I thought the avatar character might actually make more sense to represent the series than the original protagonist of Fire Emblem. He can show off both the magic and weapons, as well as represent Awakening, the latest and greatest Fire Emblem game. And maybe the Robin hype is strong enough to save me from elimination.

Since it didn't feel right to have any series have more characters than Mario, and I wasn't able to add Peach or Bowser, I continued with my "Nintendo All-Stars" theme. Each character reps their own series.

Reasoning
I wanted to add King Dedede this round because Kirby does not have any important newcomers. (Waddle Dee would be weird without King Dedede)
I wanted one form of Zelda, and Tetra does that since normal Zelda does not work, and she also represents the Toon games.
Pokemon Trainer is the player of Pokemon games. I might change the Pokemon he uses later, but for now, I'll stick to the trio.
ROB saved the gaming industry.

Wanted to keep with posting the important players of who you play as, and continue with series representation. I could have gone with going for the Brawl characters I wanted to claim since they are next, but since I already lost Bowser, that makes the likes of Dedede rather moot, and I have a great idea for balancing out my roster in a useful way when the time comes. Yet doing that now would probably get me kicked out as the rosters are still finding their own originality. So I am going for overall well rounded nature, and sticking with this mixup of old and new systems, protagonists/avatar/iconic others, and different types of players.

Edited mine since the cut seems to have been optional. Changed around WR too since he is a bit like Isaac, and I figured it made sense to have a Downloadable title if I'm going for a new IP.

Ganon is the least risky Zelda character that I could add. I did not want to add Toon Link, and Tetra would seem odd.
King Dedede is the next important Kirby character, and any the best Kirby newcomer would be weird without him.
Pokemon Trainer is the player character in the Pokemon series. He uses the Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard for now, but that will change much later in the game (if I make it that far).
ROB saved the video game industry. And I already am missing the Ice Climbers.

GoldenIcarus: Sonic and only 3 Mario and spinoff series characters.

a smart guy: Should of added Robin and not Lucina, three retros, Mega Man.

Luma Okami: Only 11 series out of 20 characters (3 Marios, 3 Kirby, 3 Pokemon, 2 FE is too early)


Ended up voting for LumaOkami for lack of series representation and missing a few prized veterans (Falcon, Olimar, a Retro)

Anyway, voted for The_Sheik for having Chorus Men before having Advanced Wars, Golden Sun, Rolling Western, or Animal Crossing represented. Also, having Lucas and 2 Donkey Kong characters. The roster just feels strange to me. Not sure exactly why.
