Bellevue, WA - SmashBoards, the worlds largest site dedicated to Super Smash Brothers and home of the competitive Smash community with over 160,000 members, has partnered with Apex 2015, the worlds largest Super Smash Brothers tournament. Apex, first launched in 2009, has grown every year and has become the pinnacle tournament for all Smash Brothers competitors. Over 1,000 unique players competed at Apex 2014 and even more are poised to participate this January following the release of Super Smash Brothers for Wii U.

"I am looking forward to partnering again with SmashBoards. They are the home of smash and us working with them is a privilege." - Johnathan "Alex Strife" Lugo

Apex 2015 will be held in Seacaucus, New Jersey and you can register today at apex-series.com. SmashBoards is proud to partner with the Apex series for a second straight year to bring support for the community and the tournament organizers who make these special events happen. Smashboards will be on site with special merchandise for the event - a special forum area has already been set up for those who want to discuss their attendance. Hopefully I'll have enough cash for Apex 2015. I regret not going last year.

While I will tune in for Smash 64, Melee and some Smash 4, I'm POSITIVE that there will be some of-to-the-side Project M 3.5 hype matches going on! ;)

Hey APEX, how can you even function with not having Balanced Brawl and Melee SD Remix?

vBrawl and vMelee are uncompetitive messes compared to those. vBrawl has tripping and is unfairly skewed towards zoners. vMelee is unfairly skewed towards Fragile Speedsters.

Cool that Pokemon OA will be there. This will be the first major tournament I plan to watch. Does each game get stream time or are there different streams for each game?

So, does this mean that SmashBoards will also have to remove Project M? Kappa

I know this isnt the place to say this but I cant wait to see how Professional KI looks like. (Of course competitive Smash will always be better and more interesting).

Brawl? No.
64? Okay, fine. Isai wins LOL.
It's not cheering me up.
Brawl is a different game from the other ones. It's played differently. Different does not equivalate to bad (except for the random tripping, that is just awful).

I need to practice Melee so I can get better and start entering tournaments. I need to dedicate my time.
