Smash or DI is a London regional which will be hosted on 3rd May 2014. With the quality of the London scene this tournament should be stacked and have a significant coin payout!! If you live in London, you won’t want to miss this one!!!

---- VENUE ----

Name: The Fircroft Centre

Address: 96 Ditton Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 6RH

The Fircroft Trust is a charity set up to support adults with mental health issues and learning disabilities. This means that all venue fees will go straight towards supporting the Fircroft Trust and there will be a collection box for the charity on the day.

The Fircroft Centre is providing us with 4 large rooms downstairs to use for this event. There will be access to a microwave as well as a tea and coffee machine. There is a garden outside which has a basketball hoop and football goal on the lawn.

You are allowed to bring and consume alcohol on site and there is a smoking area behind the building. Any illegal substances will not be tolerated; this building is also used by the Addiction Support and Care Agency. Anyone found to be using anything illegal will be asked to leave the event immediately.

---- TRAVEL & TRANSPORT ----

By car: There is a small car park onsite which can accommodate a few cars and also allows for TVs to be dropped off. There is also parking on some of the side roads.

By train: The closest station is Surbiton which is about half an hour from Waterloo by train and around a 15 minute walk away from the venue. The last train to London Waterloo from Surbiton is at 01:23. There is the option to take the 71 bus from the front of Surbiton station and get off by the Maypole pub / garage.

By bus: The 71 goes past the end of the road and runs every 8 mins or 12 mins depending on the time of day, the bus runs until about half past midnight. This then turns into the 65 which is a night bus running which goes from Chessington to Ealing.

---- FOOD ----

You can bring your own food and eat it onsite and use the microwave. There is a KFC, McDonalds, Sainsbury’s, M&S and various other places in Surbiton around 15 mins walk or 2 min by car. I will also pick up some delivery menus for some good local places so people can order food to the venue.

I will be supplying water and squash throughout the day.

---- IMPORTANT INFORMATION ----

This is a one day event, the venue will open at 10 am and we will finish at 11 pm.

We will be running two events; Melee and Project M singles. There is the potential to put on doubles or crews after these are complete and I will organise this on the day if there is time after singles is complete.

Venue Fee:
£3 – The venue fees all go to charity.

Tournament Costs:
£3 – Melee Singles
£3 – Project M Singles

I currently have 11 TVs and I aim to have 15 for this event however will need people to bring extra TVs and setups. Please indicate on the pre-registration form whether you can bring a TV or setup. There is a £1 discount on the venue fee for each TV you bring up to a maximum of 3.
