Hey all!

We're hosting Smash on the Hill V and expecting a bigger turn out! If you need parking we have a private garage so let us know in advance! Thanks!

We are now introducing PM and Melee side events!

It is a single doubles elimination, and doubles double elimination, of course there is free play area for those attending as well.

At the moment we have 2 full set ups, If you want to bring your own set up, it'll help smooth out the process (and waive your venue fee :) ), if you do not have a Wii U adapter, we can provide it, but we are very limited in extras. Last time was a blast, can't wait for this one!

I have two questions. First, is it required to use Gamecube controllers only? Second, is there any prize for winning the competition?

Yes, the entry fee will be put into a pot, and from there, 1st place gets 60%, 2nd place gets 30%, and 3rd place gets 10% of the total amount. So the more people that go the more money in the pot! Also, you do not need to specifically use the GameCube controller. What controller do you use?

Thank you for the clarification on the prize. I use a Wii Classic Controller when I play Smash Wii U.

Could you use the WiiU Game pad as a controller for the Smash 4 Tourney? I'm asking because my friend might want to come as well and that is what he uses.

The only exception is that if they cannot play with any other controllers than yes, he can.

I may participate depending on my schedule and if I can catch a shuttle to Boston.

You think maybe the semi/grand final could have a Bo5s instead of just Bo3s?

Sorry if I misread but is it single or double elimination for singles?
