not many tourneys here,

but there a lot of people that play melee in the area.

Anyone want my t.v? Coming down on Thursday to move the rest of my stuff and don't really want to take it back home. Keep in mind that it is pretty big and heavy (but good if you don't need to move it often).

i think the general sentiment here is

"why play PM when you could be playing melee?"

but im sure some of us are down to play PM from time to time.

Hey all. New to the area, haven't played Smash in a while. I played Brawl competitively for a while, but I'd like to pick up Melee. I played a lot of Melee growing up, but I've never played it competitively and am hoping to learn. Do you guys still get together for Smashfests? Hope this thread isn't dead...

we still play very often. As nick so kindly posted, we mainly use the facebook group to organize our gatherings. Im glad this thread still catches the stray smashboards member.
