Title of the bug: Can cancel Lucario's down-B using C stick, but not up-B.

Version found in: 3.5, Homebrew, Full set

Hardware you are running: Wii

Loading Method: Vanilla Brawl backup on DVD+R DL, Project M files on SD card, NeoGamma

Details: When using up an aura charge to cancel Lucario's up B into a move, you can only use the A button and the control stick to input this move, and cannot use the C stick (nothing happens when the C stick is pressed and the up B just goes to completion without another move coming out). By contrast, cancelling down B into a move inputted via the C stick works correctly and the move does come out.

To reproduce, acquire at least one aura charge and try inputting a move using the C stick during Lucario's up B - the result is that no move comes out.

Cancelling up b works differently than down b. up b is cancelled by an A input followed by the move you want to use. Down b is cancelled by using a normal attack (tilt, smash, aerial) so you cannot cancel down b without using an attack, but you can with up b

EDIT: Nevermind.

My mistake, carry on!

(Though it would still be nice/sensical if using the C stick cancelled up B and put out a move in one go)

That's not really possible, as the UpB cancel, like similar nB cancels, goes into an animation with IASA of 9. DownB actually just goes straight into the attack; doing the same on UpB would make the attack at least 8 frames faster depending on timing. Anyway, bug report debunked, so I'm locking this =P.
