> place dead last
> win mm vs 9th place immediately after tournament

i hate this game.
Don't sweat it lol.

Placings don't mean much past top 4 or so at these. A double-elim bracket only truly guarantees an accurate top 2 in theory. Since we try to seed the top 16 at these, the placings accuracy is a bit better than that, but still... it's all about who you beat and who you lose to, not the number next to your name in the results.

UMB7 results from last week:

Just to clarify, there is no UMB8 on December 21st. The Smashboards thread automatically incremented it biweekly, but we decided awhile ago that UMB7 would be the last one of the calendar year. It was a great semester of tourneys, thanks everyone for attending!

By the way, the parking lot at the end of the drop-off driveway (Thompson Street Parking Structure) is free to use after 18:00! It's also the closest parking lot to the Union - a mere 1 minute walk away from the drop-off entrance - so totally park in there for the summer (bi)weeklies! Make sure you don't park in a Gold Zone though (mostly on level 1), and avoid the construction zones on the uppermost floors (renovations are planned)! Cheers! o7

Here's a Google Maps link: 500 Thompson St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104
