Is float cancelling a nair out of shield worth it? Seems as if just short hopping it gets the hitbox out quicker. Are there any situations where FC nair should be used over SHFFL?

So at about 15:45, I get put in a very precarious position and the Fox up smashes my shield, and faded back after a bit. If I had done a simple nair oos, I would have put myself in danger to be upsmashed, grabbed, or up aired if I had missed. The instafloat nair allowed me to punish and then get back into shield to preserve my stock.

It's great for punishes.

Thanks for the reply! Seems like it could be used in lieu of a oos wavedash to close distance and punish.
