I host weekly project m tournaments in my home, i cant seat more than 12 at a time(out of 20 or so friends that play smash), so i branched out to a venue for bi-weekly saturday events. my numbers alone last saturday combined with a little promotion already doubled the turnout for the entire event which also hosted king of fighters 13, street fighter 4, marvel vs capcom 3, last blade 2 i think? magic the gathering, smite i think? and skull girls for pc. i'm hoping to grow the size of my events, the amount of space we have to work with is more than enough 40 or 50 people if done correctly(obviously im a ways away from getting there, but for the future it is looking insanely bright!) $5 venue fee. and as of right now until we get bigger turnouts, it will be $1 each per tournament per player for singles and for doubles. project m only, winner take all for the payouts. brackets will be made on challonge, and the seeding will not be randomized. i've got a pretty legitimate record of my weeklies at home, and of the previous game king tournament with stats on each player, so the seeding will be as close to accurate as possible for the regulars from here on out. come down and legitimize a great spot for new england smashers!
