Welcome to a weekly Hypest Doubles Rotation Tournament!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

3. We have finally updated the Rankings! All Thanks to Rapptz! This new ranking system will also serve to replace the old TPS system that we have been using to seed our events! Please let us know your reddit name so that we can match it to your challonge account! How is the Rankings Calculated? Check it out here! Ranking Q&A

4. Wii U Doubles - World - We are asking people to now register as a Team. We are planning on ranking doubles, so make sure to sign up as a team, not individually. To create a team, simply click the 'Team' tab in the top right corner of Challonge.

5. HypestTeam are looking to recruit:
  • 5 Tournament Organisers
  • 1 Streamer for Smash 64
  • 1 Streamer for Melee
  • 1 Streamer for Brawl
  • 1 Streamer for 3DS

Tournament Structure
1st Phase: Swiss Rounds
2nd Phase: Top Cut Double Elimination Bracket

Only ONE of you will need to sign up and check in for Doubles.

There will be a mandatory check-in time of 1 hour before the event begins. Be warned that Check in closes 5 minutes before the Tournament in order for the bracket to be processed. If you do not appear for check-in or notify a TO ahead of time, you will be dropped. You Check-In on the Challonge Bracket. LATE ARRIVALS will NOT be accepted.

We require EVERYONE to be in the IRC client during the tournament.

If you are new to HYPEST Tournaments please fill in THIS FORM.

We will then proceed to add you into our HYPEST Phonebook for easy access of everyone's Friend Codes and Nintendo ID.

Congratulations to Team Vocalight (Kodystri + Genoblob) for winning for this weeks Doubles. The next one is on April 26th and sign ups are now Opened!

Wii U Doubles Sign ups are opened early, starting in about 2 Weeks! If you need a partner, reply to this thread so others without partners know who you are! Joining the IRC Chat before the tournament will greatly increase your chances of finding a partner as many are in search of a new partner at the last minute!

We are happy to announce we will be bringing back 3DS Doubles in a bi-weekly basis in rotation with Wii U Doubles. Doubles for Everyone! Remember if you are looking for a partner just post in the thread!

3DS Doubles will be a test for this week! in place of Wii U Doubles, if we get a good feedback and attendance we will make this a bi weekly thing! So find a partner and join! and sign up on challonge

This week will be Wii U Doubles! Also after a test run with 3DS Doubles last week, we are happy to announce we will keep it within our schedule with an amazing turnout! We will rotate Wii U Doubles and 3DS Doubles weekly!

June 7th will be Wii U Doubles

June 14th will be 3DS Doubles

Sign ups are open till tournament starts.
