So...looking forward to warmer days, Hitbox Arena is excited to announce our Vernal Spring Equinox (aka Spring Break) 2-Day Mini-Major Smash Event - SHEQUINOX
Note: We realize that not all player's Spring Breaks coincide, but we chose this date based on averages.
Here are some of the things our 2nd Mini-Major will offer:
-2-Day event with Singles, Doubles for all Games
-1st Place Pot--Bonus Schedule:
-$50 guaranteed Pot bonuses for ALL singles brackets
-$100 greater than 32 bracket entrants
-$200 for greater than 64 bracket entrants
-$400 for greater than 96 bracket entrants
-Singles payout schedule:
-Top 3 under 32 entrants
-Top 5 under 64 entrants
-Top 8 over 64 entrants
-Doubles payout schedule:
-Top 3 for all games
-Preregistration venue discounts (save $5 before midnight, Thursday, March 12)

(no fee required @ pre-reg. Please pay day-of event)
-Staggered brackets and split-sessions over 2 days to minimize bracket overlaps and more focus on individual events

2:00pm - Smash 4 Doubles
4:00pm - Smash 4 Singles (up to top 32)
6:00pm - Project M Doubles (up to top 8, if over 20 doubles entrants)
8:00pm - Project M Singles (up to top 32)
Sunday March 15
10:00am - Doors Open/Friendlies
10:00am - 12:00pm Project M Doubles Top? (if needed)
12:00pm - Top 32 Melee Singles Top 32
4:00pm - Top 32 Smash 4 Singles Top 32
8:00pm - Top 32 Project M Singles Top 32

Smash Game Rules:
-Smash 4 Singles - 2 Stock/ 6 Min, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games, 3/5 for Finals Matches
-Smash 4 Doubles 3 Stock/8 Min
-Apex rules apply
-Melee and PM - Normal rules apply
-Remember, for this event we will be allowing Mii's and Palutena, but with only "default" move sets available for competition. (aka 1111)
-Bathroom access will be thru Kinnelon Pizza (next door) and Pathmark (5 steps from venue)

-We will be offering opportunities to "commentate" during the course of this event. Please see Johnny or Pat if you think you got the goods.
-There will be opportunities for friendlies before, during and after active tournament brackets, depending on available setups. We will of course, do our best to maximize access to setups for friendlies during this 2 day event.
-Sorry, but there will be no outside (none HBA) SD cards, games, consoles or TV's allowed at the venue. We have you covered with our 22 setups. You need only bring your controller. Is your Gamecube controller on the fritz? Well you can rent a Gamecube controller for $7/day, with a security of your driver's license held by HBA until you return the controller.
