Yo! Long time Luigi main here! Just a quick offhand Luigi tech thread I thought would be useful.
I have a specific question related to it though.
In several matches, Abate has used shroyuken and then somehow sent himself backward to avoid a punish.
Anyone know how to do it? Thanks!

Just hold backwards after the up-b, if they shield it you can go a lot farther backwards

If you shoryu a shield you'll be sent way back, however, holding backwards does not affect the distance.
