ARFI is back for the month of June!
This month, we are jumping on the hype train early by allowing Lucas, Roy, and Ryu to be playable in both the singles and doubles tournaments (please see below for more details on Wii U setups and the rules)! Also, there will be a special Father's Day Smash Bros. event! (detailed below)

TIME INFO:
11:30am: Registration for all events starts (and ends 10 minutes before the event starts)
1:00pm: Smash 4 Doubles
4:00pm: Amiibo Tourney
4:00pm: Smash 4 Singles
ENTRY FEES:
Venue Fee: $5 (waived if you bring a setup with at least 1 of the new DLC characters)
Singles: $5
Doubles: $5 ($10 per team)
Amiibo Tourney: $3
PAYOUTS:
1st: 60%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 10%
FATHER'S DAY EVENT: Let's celebrate Father's day with a special doubles tournament. Bring out your Dads! You and your Pops battle it out against other Father-daughter/son teams. Since it's their special day, Dads get 4 stocks, while kids only get 2. (Start a 4 stock match, kids self destruct twice, then start the battle). Format will be determined on entrant number. What if a dad has more than one kid? We've thought about that and will cross that bridge when/ if it gets here.
SETUPS:
Please bring setups! We want the tournaments to flow as smoothly as possible. A full setup includes a Wii U w/Smash4, a GC adapter, and a monitor.
**Your venue fee will be waived if you bring a setup with at least one new DLC character. Otherwise, you can use your venue fee to purchase characters before the tournament (please download before coming to save time!).
Setups with at least one DLC character will get a prize (Lucas figurines), and setups with all three new characters will be entered into a raffle for even more goodies (pictures to come soon).
RULES:
We are using the stage list and general rules from the EVO ruleset (http://evo.shoryuken.com/additional-rules/) with a few main exceptions:
- Lucas is playable
- Roy is playable
- Ryu is playable
- You can use any combination of custom moves that you want
Please see a purple-shirt TO if you want to use a custom move setup that isn't on the Wii U you are playing -- we will quickly transfer it from one of our 3DS's.

Customs have been (and may always be) a hot button issue here. The reason we've been running customs was to mirror EVO and allow for folks to practice for the world's largest Smash4 event. After EVO, we'll look to the next event and plan accordingly.
