We have been doing friendly round robin weeklies and monthly tournaments for Melee and Rivals of Aether since March at Cosmic Oasis in Richmond, KY. Our tournaments usually draw 20-25 players, and the weekly events usually include 4-6 players, and we're trying to grow. So I'm creating this to establish a $2 weekly event with a round robin (or short bracket if we have more than 4)

Rules
4 stocks with an 8 minute time rule
Round Robin (4 or less entrants) or Double Elimination Bracket (5+ entrants)
For double elimination: Every match is a best of 3 games until Grand Finals, which are best of 5
Timeline
5:30 - Registration/Friendlies (you can show up earlier)
6:00 - Round Robin / Bracket Starts
10:00 - Venue closes
Entry fee:
Venue/Tournament : Free! As long as we are buying enough food/drink from Cafe Meeples it will stay that way.

*We'll need Melee setups, bring them if you have them!
Prize Payout (subject to change based on attendance):
Round Robin (4 or less entrants)- 1st takes 100% of prize pool
(4+ Entrants):
1st - 65% of prize pool
2nd - 35% of Prize pool
