This Saturday 1/31/15 will be the last Saturday Struggle tournament. We are taking a break to reevaluate our weekly and how we can make it better for you our patrons. The Saturday Struggle will return in March, but until then we can and will host casuals every Saturday night, but we will not be streaming. Help us make this week's Saturday Struggle the biggest and best it can possibly be! We thank you for all the support and amazing fights held in our arcade. See you guys this Saturday!

General Rules

All games are Double Elimination, ⅔ rounds, ⅔ matches, Grand Finals ⅔ matches.
Entry fee is $10 ($5 venue $5 pot)*. Wristband system is in effect. You don't have one, you don't play...simple.
Prize structure is 60/30/10.

*Street Fighter III 3rd Strike is $5 pot, there is no venue because it is ran on cabinets. The venue is your quarter donations.

PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT.


ATTENTION PAD PLAYERS** Cronus devices are banned from tournament use. You must have a wired controller! If you do not, there are wires available for use, first come first served. You must leave a California State Issued ID, no exceptions. You are responsible for the wire and it will be checked and you'll receive your ID once the wire is determined functioning as normal. We encourage all pad players to bring their own wired controllers, please don't use us as a crutch every tournament...

In the event of a controller malfunction, the player has the option to report it, find a replacement within a reasonable time and takes a match loss for the first incident. Player forfeits the second match for a subsequent malfunction.

Players may not use any glitch or bug that prevents their game from being played, including but not limited to bugs causing the game to freeze or reset.
Programmable controllers and/or turbo functions are banned.

Wireless controllers are banned.**
Players who are not present when called for their match after 5 minutes. receive a full loss, and are disqualified after 10 minutes.
Pausing a game results in a match loss unless opposing player chooses to waive this penalty.
Registration for all games begin at 5:30PM.

We are in need of a GC adapter for Wii U, first patron to let us borrow one for this tournament gets their venue fee waved. Also feel free to bring any setups just in case we need them.


Super Smash Bros Wii U.
Matches are 1 on 1, stock of 2 set for 6 minutes
No items, No amiibo fighters
Due to time settings no Mii fighters, may feature them in future tournaments but not for this event.
No Stage list, Both opponents must agree on stage, or commit to using Omega version of stage.
Matches are 2/3 grand finals 3/5
In the event of a glitch, match will be restarted.
Character switch is allowed to the loser in a set.
Tournament begins at 6:00PM

Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN
Will take place on PS3.
Loser can change character, winner is character locked.
Tournament begins at 8:00PM

Street Fighter 3 Third Strike.
Played on head to head cabinets
Blind pick is optional
Winner must keep selected super art
Matches ending in judgement will be replayed.
Tournament begins at 10pm

OMEGA Street Fighter 4
Will take place on the Xbox 360.
Winner must select the same character but can change Ultra BEFORE loser selects their character.
Tournament beings at 10pm

They are putting a pause on tournaments. However they still do friendlies every Saturday, it costs $5 so you can go and play. If you have a setup they encourage people to bring them.

Nice, maybe I'll check it out then. Any idea when tournaments will be back then?

They said around March. But have no idea what date. However when i find out the date I'll post on smashboards.
