I'm moving to Santa Barbara!

First of all, I'm gonna quickly introduce myself.

I'm a 21 year old from Stockholm, Sweden and in January, me and two friends are gonna move to Santa Barbara to study for six months. I've been following the competitive smash scene for quite some time and I am aware that Southern California has a very active smash scene.

Basically my question is; are there any local tournaments in Santa Barbara or nearby tournaments in other regions around Santa Barbara? Like, weekly tournaments and such. And if so, where can I find information about this?

Oh wow! I didn't see this earlier. We have a pretty active scene, we hold smashfests every tuesday at 7 pm on ucsb's campus, and we randomly hold tournaments. Check out our fb group for more info: https://www.facebook.com/groups/805melee/
