Ice Climbers All Star Glitch

I don't know if this has happened to any of you guys, but if I choose Ice Climbers in all star, whenever I die it just takes away a stock and respawns the climbers, instead of a different character. Also i end up with 9999 kills at the end of it

What happens is I select Ice Climbers, and then all my other characters. At that point, I fight, then die. When i die, instead of moving on to my next character,i simply respawn as ice climbers

I apologize for it seems the glitch fixed itself, I was unable to replicate the bug, thank you for your time.
