Game: Who would you rather have?

I've seen similar games on other websites; I'm shocked that I haven't seen one here. The rules of this game are rather simple. Rather than write out an explanation, I'll give you an example of how it works.

Player One: Would you rather have Hades or Medusa?
Player Two: I'd rather have Medusa, because I really think Smash needs more female characters. Who would you rather have, Shulk or Isaac?
Player Three: Personally, I would rather have Isaac because I'm a huge fan of his series and I've never played Xenoblade. Who would you rather have, Waluigi or Dixie Kong?

See how it works? In your post, you answer the previous poster's question and then suggest one of your own. Note that this thread has nothing to do with how likely characters are; it comes down to who you WANT the most.

Rules:

1) NO ARGUING. THIS IS NOT A DEBATE THREAD.

And use a little bit of common sense--- if you don't know who the character are, do a little research or wait for someone else to post a new matchup. To help avoid this, don't suggest characters who are TOO obscure. But please, don't keep reiterating the same matchups. Also, try to explain your reasoning--- that's half of the fun of the game.

Let's begin with a third-party question:

Simon Belmont or Solid Snake?

Simon Belmont, since Solid Snake's reign is canonically over.

Who would you rather, Solid Snake or Naked Snake/Big Boss?

Personally, I'd prefer Solid Snake. He's just more iconic. Even though my favorite Metal Gear game is the Snake Eater, I have to opt for Solid Snake.

Who would you rather have, Waluigi or Bowser Jr.?

I'd rather have Bowser Jr, since he's my second favorite Mario character.

Who would you rather have, Chrom or Pac-Man?

I'm rather indifferent on Chrom; I'd like to see him in, but I wouldn't mind it if he weren't. On the other hand, I'm a major Pac-Man supporter; he's just too iconic to pass up.

Ridley or Mewtwo?

I'd rather have Ridley. While Mewtwo is a very popular Pokémon, he's not necessary to properly fill out the series' roster of fighters. We're starving for a second Metroid character.

Would you rather have Roy or Toon Link?

Toon Link. I love legend of Zelda, and even though Fire Emblem Awakening is amazing, I have yet to play previous entries in the series. Furthermore, Toon Link seems more relevant with Wind Waker HD.

Ghirahim from Zelda, at the very least he kick-started the events that made the entire Zelda timeline come into play, making him more relevant to Nintendo imo.

Dr. Mario, as an alternate palette change for Mario though. He would function exactly the same as Mario with different aesthetics, not sure how Fludd would work though. I want him because he seems more important to the Mario franchise that Pichu does to Pokemon.

Little Mac. Sukapon looks like he has potential, but I think Little Mac would be a lot more fun if he had a counter-based play style that reflected his gameplay in the Punch Out games.

Would you rather have a Masked Link trio of Deku Link/Goron Link/Zora Link or a Hoenn Pokemon Trainer with Mudkip/Grovyle/Blaziken?

Honestly both options are abysmal choices but Grovyle looks much more slick and so I will pick him.

A Mario rep, because in my opinions, Zelda is already well repped. Who else could they include besides another villain (Majora, Ghirahim, Vaati), whereas with Mario still has room (Bowser Jr., Paper Mario, Waluigi, Toad), etc.

Sandbag, given a longer history with the game and these surprisingly cool moveset proposals which seem a heck of a lot cooler than anything a generic Primid could offer.

Which Fire Emblem: Awakening lord would you rather see playable: Chrom or Lucina?

Lucina, She has better moveset potential than Chrom, and she'd be another female character (to even out the gender ratio a little more), but I'd prefer Robin if he/she were an option.

Which would you rather have, a decloned Ganondorf or Roy's Return (but still a clone)?

Bowser Jr. Toad is more important, yes. But Bowser Jr. just oozes personality and is much less bland (and less hated I think too).

Paper Mario, all the way. There's just so much you could do with him, and he definitely seems a lot more like a separate Mario than a Mario in a doctor's coat.

Professor Layton. Because I'd rather have Yoshimitsu for the Namco Bandai rep, also we need a detective much the same way Smash needed a doctor.

Zoroark, since Deoxsys isn't a Pokemon. Though I'd rather go with Deoxys if that was a choice on part of how it'd be fun to have four separate playstyles, randomly chosen to mix things up between each life.
