I've been a Luigi main for quite some time now, enough to list him as my main next to my username. But no matter how many times I manage to pull wins, I still feel like there's something missing. Like I'm not using Luigi to the extent of his potential.

So that's where you, the pro Luigis of SWF come in. I would greatly appreciate any tips, tricks, videos, or anything of the like you would be willing to share to help take my Luigi game to the next level.

Thanks,

If you want to get better, start by reading the guides that have been stickied at the top of this forum. No one is too good to read guides.

Also you'll need to learn about the game itself and not just Luigi specific things.

Learning the game:

http://smashboards.com/threads/10-000-words-of-power.295524/

Luigi Stuff:
-This video guide has some nice advice on practicing chaingrabbing and wall techs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK4K556f4TI

-Guide that has Captain Falcon matchup info and good tech chasing info.

Things you'll generally need to do to get better:
- Look at videos of pro players and what they do in certain match-ups.
- Look up old info on smashboards in the melee discussion and Luigi forums. Some of it is really useful but didn't get stickied. SWF is an encyclopedia of good stuff.
- Fight better players and ask them for advice after a set.
- (If you can) Post videos of yourself and ask for a critique.

Anyway I hope you're Luigi gets really good! Good luck!

Thanks so much for all those links, I've been taking good notes. I'll practice on a friend today, he just happens to main Captain Falcon.
