Tower of Smash sounds like such a good idea. It almost reminds of the way other fighting game franchises handle their Adventure Modes.

If this rumor is indeed true, I'd happily take this as a replacement to the Subspace Emissary. It wouldn't be nearly as cool, but it's SOMETHING.

Tower of Smash reminds me of some of the Kirby games, with the most recent one being Kirby's Return to Dreamland. It had certain modes with stuff like Tower of Smash. I'm guessing Sakurai must have created that mode based off his Kirby games.

Sakurai stopped making Kirby games after Kirby Air Ride though...
