Bring It On! 10

It's time for another Bring It On! I hope you're ready. We've added Smash 4 to the lineup, but with an important caveat: because of time and space concerns, you can not enter both Melee singles and Smash 4 singles. Smash 4 will be held downstairs and will run concurrently with Melee. We hope you love the tournament nonetheless.

Events
Melee Singles - $5
Project M Singles - $5
Smash 4 Singles - $5
Melee Doubles - $5 per person

No venue fee!

Schedule
10:00 am: Venue opens, setup / registration / friendlies
12:00 pm: Melee Doubles
2:00 pm: Melee Singles / Smash 4 Singles
5:00 pm: Project M Singles

Notes:
- You may only enter one of Melee Singles or Smash 4 Singles, not both. This is because Melee will be upstairs and Smash 4 will be downstairs, and will run concurrently.
- Registration begins when the venue opens, and closes 15 minutes before a particular event begins. Please be on time, as we will not hold the bracket.
- The venue closes at 11:00 pm. After the main events, we will hold draft crew battles or crew battles between cities if there is interest.

Payouts
1st Place - 60%
2nd Place - 30%
3rd Place - 10%

Location
Riverside Community Center, University of Alabama
703 Riverside Lane, Tuscaloosa, AL

The Riverside Community Center is the building with the bridge attached. It looks like this.

Parking can be found at the Ferguson Center, which is a one- or two-minute walk from the venue. On weekends, visitors can park in any legal parking spot. Handicap laws still apply.

Food
On-campus: Raising Canes, Wendy's, Subway, Auntie Anne's, Dunkin' Donuts
Off-campus: Within 10 minutes of the venue, there's McDonalds, Taco Bell, Publix, Chipotle, Firehouse, and a lot more.

Note that Wendy's, Subway, and Auntie Anne's will likely close at 6:00.

Setups
Please bring as many setups as you can. If you bring a setup, everyone will know how great you are, and I'll give you a shout out on the results thread.

Rulesets
Melee

The standard one, found at http://smashboards.com/rulesets/melee/ with the exception that Kongo Jungle is not legal in doubles.

Smash 4

We will use the Tipped Off ruleset, which follows:

Starter stages

Battlefield (or Miiverse)
Final Destination (or Omega Stages)
Smashville
Town and City
Lylat Cruise

Counterpick stages
Dream Land

Rules

- 2/3 games per set until finals
- All items OFF
- Item frequency set to NONE
- Team attack ON, custom fighters OFF -

- Singles: 2 stock, 6 minutes - Doubles & Quads: 3 stock, 8 minutes. -
- Winners Final, Losers Final, and Grand Final are 3/5 games per set. -
- In the event of a draw game, Sudden Death will not be used. Lowest percent wins.
- Mii fighters: The only allowed Miis are Guest Miis with 1111, 2222, and 3333 movesets.

- Game 1 of each set can only be played on a Starter stage. The remaining games can be played on either a Starter or Counterpick stage. Miiverse can be used in place of Battlefield. Omega Stages can be used in place of Final Destination. A ban or strike on BF or FD counts as a ban for Miiverse or all Omegas, respectively.

- Game 1 selection procedure: players pick characters (blind pick can be requested), players strike stages (order: P1-P2-P2-P1).
- Game 2+ selection procedure: winner bans 2 stages, loser picks stage, winner picks character, loser picks character. - Stage Clause: A player may not pick the same stage he or she won on in a previous game of the set unless both players agree.
-One Ban in Best of Three
-No Bans in Best of Five

Project M

Neutral Stages
Yoshi's Story
Battlefield
Smashville
Pokemon Stadium 2
Dreamland

Counterpick Stages
Green Hill Zone
Delphino's Secret
Yoshi's Isand (Brawl)
Final Destination
Fountain of Dreams

Rules
- Version 3.6
- 4 stocks, 8 minutes, items off. In doubles, friendly fire is set to on and stock-sharing is allowed.
- Gentleman's Clause: Any stage can be played on that both players agree to.
- Stage striking is done in 1-2-1 fashion. If the players cannot agree on who bans first, Rock-Paper-Scissors should decide.
- Every set will be a best of 3, with the exception of Winner's Finals, Loser's Semis, Loser's Finals, and Grand Finals. These will be best of 5.
- The winning player of a game may ban 2 stages for the following match. The other player then selects the stage to be played on. The winning player selects their character, then the losing player selects their character.
- Dave's Stupid Rule: No counterpicking any stage you won on, unless both players agree.
- Initial character picks will be done blindly at the players' request.
- Players can request a neutral start before the match begins.
- Pause will be set to off. Mistakenly pausing the game will result in a lost stock at the nearest TO's discretion.
- All infinite stalling and stalling glitches are banned.
- If a singles game goes to time, the player with the higher stock count will be the victor. If stocks are even, the player with the lower percentage will be declared the victor. If percentage and stocks are equal, the game will go to a 2-stock, 5 minute game with the same characters and stage.
- If a doubles game goes to time, the team with more collective stocks will be the victor. If stocks are even, the team with the least collective percent is victorious. If collective percent is even, the game will go to a 2-stock, 5 minute game with the same characters and stage.

Setups of every kind are appreciated. You won't need a visitor pass or anything, because you can park anywhere on campus on weekends.
