Well, I voted Yes for Wolf. And indifferently for the other two.

With Wolf, we have a surprisingly different character from Fox. A majority of his attacks are unique to him. While his specials each have their own flair to them to keep Wolf interesting even in that regard. Namely his drastically different laser and angled Side-B. Though like Lucas, some of specials will seem less, well...special now that Fox mimics his Side-B for one of his customs. I also like Wolf as a character. I always found him to be a pretty fun rival. And liked his code of honor that he had in Assault. While not too particularly deep, he's at least got a personality. And let's be honest, he looks pretty cool too. I would also hope, that like Roy, we see some minor changes to Wolf. Roy was given a couple of new moves to make him less redundant from Marth. I would like to think, that the already surprisingly unique Wolf, could be tweaked further to make him even less of a Fox variation than his Brawl incarnation.

Bandanna Dee, well, I almost voted yes for him or...it I guess. I don't think the character itself is anything special. Just that there's a lot to pull off with this characters playstyle. So while not too interesting to look at, can at least be fun to play once one gets their dirty ass hands on them.

Balloon Fighter. Well, the Villager already takes one iconic move from the character, and possibly the most important of these moves too. I'm not opposed to the idea either. But I'm unsure if this character on it's own can offer a lot in terms of playstyle. Which made me pick indifferently.

I'd like to ask you one question, @ BluePikmin11 . If Iwata was still alive, do you think you would still have picked BF as a first poll day option? I completely understand (no pun/reference intended) the sentiments of those people and I'm not saying you do, but I have a feeling some people only want BF in because Iwata died and not because they like the character or so and that's not a good reason if you ask me.

Voted yes for both Bandana Dee and Wolf. Bandana Dee because I'm a big Kirby fan and feel like the series should get some more representation, especially when series as small as Fire Emblem get more than it. I Also happen to really like Bandana Dee as a character, so yeah, pretty easy to see why I'd vote yes.

Wolf, I voted yes because he's a unique fighter that only takes inspiration from Fox, and twists it into a very unique style, along with the fact that he's a popular veteran, so he should return, as it's painful to his fans who played him in brawl to not have him come back, y'know?

I voted no for Balloon Fighter for a few reasons, one being I don't see much potential, two being he isn't much of a "Character", and third, the big one, I feel adding him cheapens and profits off of Mr. Iwata's death, I get that so many people want to add him as a tribute, but I don't think Mr. Iwata himself would want anyone's vote or any of his beloved games to be swayed by his death. I'd personally find it disrespectful to Mr. Iwata if Balloon Fighter got in just because he died, it completely cheapens everything he himself loved in my honest opinion. I'd be fine with it if the vast majority of his support was from before his death or if he got in as a tribute from his colleagues, but not from people's votes being tipped due to his death. Sorry.

Indifferent for Wolf because, personally, I don't care about him, but Wolf would make a lot of people happy, so it's fine.
And finally no for Balloon Fighter because I don't really like retros and I don't see Mr. Iwata's death as a reason to include him at all.

Wolf-my most wanted veteran, needs to come back

Krystal-potential for a very unique moveset especially for a Star Fox character...supported her quite a bit during Brawl speculation...adding her (and Wolf) would basically 'complete' the Star Fox lineup...

Pichu-he's cute I'll give him that...don't think we really need him back and wouldn't be really excited if he came back especially over other veterans that aren't quite as hated as he is...

Others-no reason for me to hate them or dislike them in anyway, nor do I really care for them that much, some may be potentially unique but I'm completely neutral at least until I see them in action to have a better grasp...

Well I voted for the next set of characters.

Mach Rider I voted yes for. I think a vechical based character is a very fun idea. I want to see how it would play out. He also looks really cool. Mach Rider also has some basic attacks to use that Excite Bike might not have. Namely the guns for some specials.

Krystal I'm indifferent to. I feel like she could be rather different. But there's also a chance she's kept somewhat similar to Fox as well. Really, I'm just not a fan of her character too much.

Takamaru is also an indifferent choice. I don't know an extreme amount of stuff about him. He could be alright. But many people seem tired of Sword users.

Pichu...No. Not interested in the least.

Voted indifferent to Takamaru, I feel like he's shafted rep wise, but I personally don't want him at all.

I voted no to Krystal, she'd be a obstacle for Wolf, and if Wolf got in too after somehow that would mean four star fox reps, something I'd rather not see. I also don't like her character at all, admittedly this is probably because I had the misfortune of playing Command as my only stair fax game, ugh that game was like a bad fanfic.

Voted no to Mach Rider, I just can't see potential other than riding a bike, and he isn't what I want.

Voted yes for Pichu because it was my secondary all the way back in melee, and I honestly prefer Pichu to Pikachu.

I'm not sure what this is trying to prove. For a ballot where you vote one character over another, this one seems kinda non related, considering most people would want as many characters as possible unless they plain flat out just hate the character (and as expected people hate Pichu, and I mained him in Melee).

I vote yes to everyone, because (most) every character that would show up here has fans, and I want to see fans be pleased. Myself, my vote goes to King K. Rool, it helps that he has vast and magnificent a fanbase as his girth.
