Geno: yes - admittedly, it will never happen, since there's a ton of characters who seem like they would take priority for Square-Enix, but Super Mario RPG was one of the first games that I played, and it's disappointing that copyright shenanigans make it so the characters who originated in that game can't appear anywhere else. (Seriously, I have no idea why Square-Enix even needs to own those characters - it's not like they'll ever use them)

Chun-Li: no - don't really see the need for a second Street Fighter and third Capcom character

Midna: yes - shame that she's an assist trophy; between her and Ghirahim (and, arguably, Tingle and Skull Kid), it seems like most of the characters who could have been added to the roster for Zelda were made into assist trophies instead. Seeing as the Zelda characters in the roster have been basically unchanged since Melee, I would have liked to see someone new getting added for that series.

Ninten: indifferent - haven't played much of Earthbound Beginnings, but it doesn't seem like he's too different from Ness, either visually or in terms of abilities. I could be wrong, though.

Chun Li: No. I like Street Fighter's cast but for Smash Ryu is all we really need as a playable. Maybe as an AT?

Midna: Indifferent. I don't really like Twilight Princess...but Midna was the best thing about that game, and Hyrule Warriors. I simply prefer a few other Zelda characters to get in first before her. She deserves inclusion though.

Ninten: Indifferent. On the one hand; complete a set. On the other; bit redundant and I'd much prefer Porky as a Mother character.

Oh, I see. I would love to see Wolf make a return as well but I don't see an issue with Fox, Falco, Wolf and Krystal making it in.

I do hope that we get K. Rool in even though I personally didn't vote for him. I suppose I'd say my stance on him is "indifferent" but has since graduated to content with the increased chance of his inclusion.

Snake is really missing from the list I feel. He's after Wolf probably the veteran with the biggest fanbase. Even though am surprised that the Ice Climbers are doing so well on this ballot. I guess we really love the veterans around here? Personally, I only voted yes for Wolf and Squirtle , and quite indifferent about Ivysaur and Ice Climbers even though I wouldn't mind either.

Anyway, I'd like to see Impa, Snake and another Kong who is not Dixie (Cranky or Lanky) on this ballot.

Indifferent to each of these choices. Geno I can't say I personally care for since I haven't played Super Mario RPG. He's alright though.

Midna is also someone I'm meh on, but is still a fairly solid choice for another Smash game.

I like Chun-Li, but I think Mega Man and Ryu more than fit the bill for Capcom in Smash. Even if they got another character, it's better off that they don't use another Street Fighter or Mega Man character. Then again, I'd probably froth at the mouth if Mega Man X was ever playable so that's my personal bias showing.

Ninten could be alright, but even if that made him really, really different, his physical similarities to Ness will no doubt turn off more than a few players.

Yes to Ray MK. I like his design and I think he has enough to offer. Honestly any of the Ray models would be good characters.

Indifferent to the rest. Sceptile would be cool, but I'm not particularly itching to have another Pokemon in the game, but I don't hate the idea either.

Starfy seems...okay at best. It might be hard to use his powers in Smash if he gets really drastic transformations like in his own games. But maybe I don't know enough about him.

Spyro's my *****. But the Skylander version is probably getting picked. He's also not as popular as he used to be. And if he still was, it wouldn't feel right not to have him in Playstation Fighting Game instead.

Yes to Ray from Custom Robo, I loved those games and wish Smash gave them more love. And Ray would have his moveset picked out for him, there'd be too MANY options instead of too few which is always nice.

I support Sceptile, my favorite grass type and Hoenn starter. Also, dat starter type trifecta...

No to Starfy. If I saw a little glorified Luma as its own playable character, I'd stare at the screen in disbelief.

...okay, don't tease me with Spyro. He's my childhood. I want to say no to him because he has so little to do with Nintendo, but I don't think I could be more hype over any other character in Smash because it's literally stuff of dreams and little else.

So yeah, I voted yes for Spyro even though he has no chance at all. Besides, another purple dragon is long overdue.

Obviously Yes to Ray Mk III. In case you don't know, Ray is the shared name for several Robo's from the Custom Robo game series. You can see all the models at the Support thread, but it's such an unknown series in the west, most supporters wouldn't mind any of the models.

Gen 3 was my first pokemon games, so Sceptile get's a yes for that reason alone.

I'm indifferent to Starfy, because the star shape seems uninteresting and already filled by Luma, in terms of characterisation.

Spyro has a cool design, and a lot of retro chops, so I'd say yes.
