Stock Mode and Crew Mode doesn't work

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but crew mode in stocks doesn't seem to work. Even if I beat my friend, with 2 stocks in hand, the next match I start with 4 again

The changing stocks doesn't work either. Supposed I keep mine to 10% and the opponents to 100% we still start with 4 lives :/
