They come out before you even press the button. In fact, when you pick Luigi, there isn't even a match, it just takes you to the victory screen with Luigi as the winner.

So for us in the CET/CEST timezones, I believe it will be 2:00 AM-3:00 AM/3:00-4:00 AM Depending on daylight savings, tomorrow for Wii U, and 1:00 AM-2:00 AM/2:00-3:00 AM (depending on daylight savings) tomorrow morning for 3DS. Hope that helps. I'm pretty sure it's the 2-3 and 1-2 but I'm very bad with the whole daylight savings thingy so I'm not exactly sure?
Edit: Pretty sure it's the CEST times now, since it's savings time over here. so 2-3 and 1-2 are probably what it is.

I don't think doing a direct without him would be making fun of him, also remember that Iwata wasn't in every direct. They should do a tribute to him in the next direct. The show must go on after all.

I'm pretty sure someone found a picture of all the costumes currently on the wiki in numerical order. Fox is 92 I believe, so Falco should be 94.By the way... (Super Mario Maker)

I don't think that actually is reliable. So far I've found no source that indicates Fox even being in 92. Also it said Wario is at 98 but it has been proven otherwise. So I guess that is pure inspection.
But if Wario is not at 98, where's he? :S 100?

Presuming normal unlockable amiibo costumes are earlier on the list.
And the rest who doesn't have amiibo yet but are ingame as unlockable costumes are further on the list, near the end of it.
But yeah, I don't have any confirmation about this yet.

Yes, but Wario isn't before or after #99 Ashley, and there aren't 100 costumes, are 99. My guess is they just throwed in what they wanted.

Be reminded the first shot is the mystery mushroom icon that will give you any one of the costumes you unlocked. So there's just 99 with 100 slots.

Now, assume if Wolf costume really is available in Mario Maker, he would better be announced before the release of the game, or he will be in a very awkward costume-without-amiibo situation (we assume all announced DLC will get amiibo). That's definitely not good for Wolf's case.
