Bomberman gets Smashified!

The amazing Smash related art project Smashified has created some outstanding Smash related art. With a goal of taking characters that fans of games love and paying "tribute to these characters, regardless of those characters" ties to Nintendo or their relevance in the modern gaming industry. They've covered Shovel Knight, Travis, Shantae, King K. Rool, and at least half a dozen more.

This time Smashified focuses on the Third-Party character Bomberman! While he hasn't had many games as of late, he's had a plethora of games released on Nintendo consoles (some sadly never localized). These multiplayer fests are enjoyable by many. Watch the video and see him get Smashified!

I love what he did with Bomberman's hands, almost making them look kinda like water balloons.

I would like to see more 1st Party Nintendo characters though. The only ones we've gotten from him is K. Rool and the Inklings. Everyone else has been third party characters, and even one (Travis) was a fan-made character!

Great stuff as always, but maybe we can get some more first party characters now? I'm more interested in seeing Nintendo characters get Smashified to be honest.

Good thing my SSF2 main is looking purty with that robot appearance and clear hands/feet. Nice job as usual Omni!

Now if only my other main could get the same treatment, one who's actually another robot with a cuter appearance and a plug tail.

This is amazing. I swear, this is perfection. There's already a moveset in place, so all they need is a sufficient model. If Bomberman became DLC...

This art is really cool, but I don't really like the character idea, if he actually got into Smash I just think he would be another super camper

Personally, as long as he wasn't brain dead, I'd like that playstyle on him. A little over a month ago, at a Smash Attack, there was a Toon Link vs. Villager match where both players were using aggressive campy playstyles. That was one of the highlights of the tournament for me.

Always loved bomberman definitely would try him out. I feel he would play a little like snake with bigger grenades. Of course he wouldn't be anything close to a snake clone but i just imagine a lot of explosions. We definitely need some Geno and Flint Smashifieds tho.

While Bomberman wasn't one of my picks since I never really played Bomberman, I still think he would be a great character. He has a lot of history, with Nintendo especially, and after Sonic, Megaman, and Pacman, is probably the next most recognizable 3rd Party for Nintendo fans.

Also the art is like amazing, easily their best work, and this is from someone who heavily supports both Shantae and K Rool
