Bomb Down Throw: How to Use it Effectively

This is a very good move in the air, but risky on the ground. Your opponent will come at you with a dash attack or grab for example, and with a bomb in hand, you can jump over the attack and throw the bomb straight down at them. Here, you can follow-up into many moves like Nair, Dair, Fair, Uair, and footstool to name a few, which all depend on the opponent's %. This is why down throwing is so good in the air.

On the ground is where it's seemingly pointless since you just end up damaging yourself. However, in the rare chance you down throw into the ground, you can save yourself in a tight spot or confuse the opponent into a misread. It's sort of a mind-game tactic, but don't use it too much since you will (obviously) take a little bit of damage from it and the opponent can punish you for it. You just gotta react to the situation properly and be as unpredictable as possible with it.
