Corresponding with Apex2015, Marc and LLL.Remen hosted the 7th edition in the Avalon series. The tournament is growing in popularity with each iteration, this time pre-registrations reached the venue cap(130) two weeks in advance. Something for European smashers to still get used to since some high level players missed out when they sent their payment in to late. Though there were various foreign players in attendance the Melee top 4 was made up of Dutch players. Grand Finals between Amsah and Remen went down to wire as did various sets that preceded it, they are well worth a watch.
The event also housed Smash Bros. for Wii U for a second time, The dutch favorite, LLL.Mr-R, was in the states where he got 3rd place at Apex. Istudying and S1-14 battled for the top place at Avalon. The event ran quite late due to the overlap between the different games, a challenge that seems to be coming up more and more for TO's as the amount of games increases.
