Once again, Smash Bros Spain is back with a new national Smash tournament. Super Smash Bros for Wii U will be present for the first time and it will be the main game. The tournament will be hosted from the 27th to the 30th of August in Castellón, Villareal, using the same venue where Densetsu Fighters happened. There are showers in the venue and you can sleep there every day until Monday morning. The venue opens on Thursday 27th and there'll be plenty of time for side-events, friendlies and more until the main events start on Saturday 29th.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U Ruleset​

128 players capacity.
2 stocks, 6 minutes.
Items off and set to none.
Customs are banned.
All games are Bo3 with top 16 being Bo5.
Mii fighters are legal. Default A Mii with any move setup.
The winner of a match that goes to time is decided by stocks and percentage. If there's a tie in percentages a play-off game will be played with 1 stock, 3 minutes.
Advanced slob picks are used to proceed with the set.
Each player has 2 stage bans that they can use when they win the first game of a set.
You can't counterpick the last stage where you won on.
Friendly fire is ON for teams.
Teams must pick character costumes that are similar to the team color they are using.

Town & City
Lylat Cruise
Final Destination

Counterpick stages:
Duck Hunt
DreamLand 64

*Omega stages are treated like Final Destination and can't be used as a counterpick if FD is banned.

64 players capacity.
4 stocks, 8 minues.
Items off.
All games are Bo3 with finals being Bo5.
The winner of a match that goes to time is decided by stocks and percentage. If there's a tie in percentages a play-off game will be played with 1 stock, 3 minutes.
Advanced slob picks are used to proceed with the set.
Each player has a stage ban that they can use when they win the first game of a set.
There are no stage bans in Bo5.
You can't counterpick the last stage where you won on.
