All-Star Mode Bug/Glitch

I was playing all-star mode and then i left and went to regular brawl (project m) and changed my self to play as giga bowser and left my opponent as mewtwo and started the fight when mewtwo died he changed into charizard which was one of the other stocks in all-star mode as the cpu and then remained charizard the rest of the fight and when I died as giga bowser I changed into regular bowser so i finished the match changed my opponent and i rechose giga bowser everything was fixed and by the way giga bowser does not work with all-star mode or if he does i can't get it to work.

Edit: This is on Dolphin by the way.
