Ok everyone, great tournament, attendence was better than last year's Melee tourney at FIU with 42 participants. This time we have 58. Although there were issues with me and the staff, it was far beyond my control to accommodate the needs. Forgive me Metal Dave on that situation you had to put through, even wasting gas coming down.

Heck... we almost lost allowing Philip (Phil-money, Prodigy, Philinator, w/e he finally decides his name tag) to enter the tourney despite the staff not allowing late comers... But we pulled it through and let him, his brother, and friend in.

Edit: Forgive me about the venue issue in the pool room with the AC being busted... it was sweating water....

And now... The results (Singles)... Videos will be uploaded and be ready at 2-3am.

Well you guys like Brawl so something is wrong with your statement there Rukuu.

Brawl is just watered down Melee.

Like 3rd Strike is to Guilty Gear I guess.
Brawl being watered down Melee doesn't make my statement wrong. And as much as you say that FIU sucks, at the last tournament which included you and some of FIU, a bunch of FIU players placed just as high as you have. Then again, I'm speaking of a tournament I've been to of course. And in my opinion, Hokuto no Ken would perfectly qualify as a watered down Guilty Gear. 3rd Strike seems to have an emphasis on ground approach and parrying. GG probably is more about air approach and wall lock down.

94.99% chance ill go to this. as long as nothing drstic happens. and no servers go down at work lmao.

I can take a Wii+Brawl. But a T.V might be difficult, ill need to kidnap my cousins smaller television.

I'll try attending, seeing how this isn't too far away, but not so near.

So it's perfect for me to find my way there, and schedule the date.
Add me to the attendance list.

Question: Are the arcades near where the Tournament is gonna be held? And are the MvC2/Third strike cabinets working?

(Figured I'd find a question to ask to bump this =)
