I finally have some videos of my Zelda for all of you. I'm going to include all my Zelda videos, and my mixed Sheik/Zelda videos.

These are all matches against someone i play every day, so that influences how the matches look.
I overuse lightning kicks on shields. I also overuse Nayru's Love (partly because i base my game around the move, partly because i'm making mistakes and using it).

The Zelda v. Olimar games are huge landslides. I wouldn't actually use Zelda against Olimar, but DanGR wanted videos of him beating my Zelda for some reason. (I fight Olimars with Sheik).

Excuse the background noise.

Sheik, then Zelda. I should mark it, because it's actually a term that's localized to another thread. Thanks.
Btw, i think it's never off topic or out of line to ask what a word or abbreviation means, unless it's in a stickied "read before posting" thread. (definitely not the case here)

Would it be bad if I touch this? lol. Annoying siblings? You aren't bad- maybe go for a throw every now and then and use upsmash instead of uptilt to mess up the opponents timing once in a while.

I've only watched the Sonic video (because I don't know enough about using StZ, and Olimar scares me), but I just have a few things:

- you did a lot of standing still. Move around a little, fake him out more, even if you're just going to wait until he comes to you anyway.

- more Uair. I cringed everytime you passed up a perfect Uair opportunity to DI to the side and wiff a Fair/Bair.

- I never thought I'd say this, but a little more Din's Fire would be nice. Part way through the match you used it effectively for a bit, but the first half and the end was just too devoid of it. Pressure him a little, even if you know he's going to dodge it. Especially when he's in the air, because Sonic isn't the best at punishing this attack while off the ground.

- some nice spot dodge in there. Good dtilt into Fsmash setups as well.

- a little less Dair (I'm not one to talk, as I overuse it nearly as much as you).

An entertaining match, nonetheless. Just need a little more movement and variety.

thx, finally i have some input. I'm not a big fan of short hopping Din's, you'll notice, but I can walk a little as my opponent approaches.

I watched some of the Pit vids and the Sonic one. In the midpoint of the Sonic fight your Zelda was great. I saw liberal DF usage, a great d-tilt to f-smash, and proper NL use for the most part, particularly when he was right behind you. However, there was literally no uair usage. Why not? The hit box is way bigger and more likely to kill via Star KO. You also never grab. Do it merely for sake of variety. You can sometimes get a nair or fair off after a down throw.

As for the Pit video, NL was not your friend. Aside from perfectly flat arrows coming right at you, why did you consistently NL when he was shooting them at an angle after shorthopping? They won't hit him back and powershielding is faster. Also, Pit is a sitting duck during his Up B for either fairs or even a spike from dair, particularly at that one point where he was right beneath you. He also edgehogged you a lot. If you're going to fally to the point where you reappear right on the ledge, why not fast fall to it so he has less time to react?

upair is easy to dodge, and I'm not sure why he doesn't grab more...
